Demolition and Reconstruction of L, M, A, & B Docks
M-DOCK UPDATE

Work to demolish and reconstruct M-Dock is scheduled to begin during the week of March 26, 2012.  Utility work in the parking area adjacent to L and M-Docks is currently underway.

In order to begin demolition work, we ask that you remove all dock boxes and personal belongings from M-Dock by no later than March 25, 2012. Harbor staff will be present on Saturday, March 24, 2012, and Sunday, March 25, 2012, to receive any hazardous wastes you would like to discard. The hazardous waste drop-off will be located in the parking lot near the fire hydrant across from the L-Dock gate.

Please note that we will not be able to store or protect any personal belongings left on M-Dock after March 25, 2012, and such items may be disposed of during the demolition work.

Vessels currently on M-Dock must be relocated before March 23, 2012. The Harbormaster will assign temporary berthing for all vessels by March 16, 2012. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would prefer to move your own vessel, rather than having it moved by the Contractor’s forces and we will provide you with a temporary berthing assignment.  We anticipate that most vessels from M-Dock will be able to move back in mid-April.
