What's Behind the Scenes?
The Harbor Exchange utilizes a backend interface developed by AtreNet,
a web site and software development company based in Santa Cruz.
The first step for the administrator is to find the entries he would
like to work with, using a search utility which can sort through the database
using keywords, date parameters, and the name or email address of the
individual who posted the notice.

This results in a view of the entries defined by the search, which can
then be individually accessed by clicking on "Modify".

The administrator can then edit any parameters of the notice, and choose
to place it online, reject it, or put the entry on hold.

Once the entry is made live, anyone browsing through the Harbor Exchange
can use the information to contact the author of the notice.
