| Clipper 2007-08 Round-the-World Race |
April 9-19, 2008 |
Clipper Ventures runs a bi-annual race around the world, solely for amateur crews. This year's race features 10, 70' sailing vessels. The race began in Liverpool, with stops in La Rochelle, Salvador, Durban, Fremantle, Singapore, Quingdao and Hawaii. The vessels will stop in Santa Cruz after sailing from Hawaii on approximately April 9, and depart on April 19, for their next port stop in Panama. Other port stops include Jamaica, New York, Halifax and Cork, before the vessels return to Liverpool. For more information visit their website
