Parking Information

Parking availability within the Santa Cruz Harbor is limited. Visitors are encouraged to carpool or use alternative forms of transportation when possible. Parking is permitted in any metered or visitor space. Excluded are slip permit spaces and spaces otherwise marked for special use.

Parking options in the neighborhood surrounding the harbor are extremely limited and parking regulations are strictly enforced.

Southeast Harbor
Visitor and metered parking rates are $1.50/hourly or $15.00/daily. Hourly and daily parking passes may be purchased from the blue parking pay station located near Johnny’s Harborside Restaurant. Daily parking passes may be purchased from the blue parking station located near the launch ramp. Meter rates are $1.50/hourly (meters accept quarters, dimes, & nickels only). Access to the harbor’s west side is available via the free inner-harbor water taxi,  which boards at “X1” dock.

North Harbor 
Metered, pay parking is available in the north harbor near “X” dock ($1.50/hourly, $15.00/daily). Hourly and daily parking passes may be purchased from the blue parking pay station located near J-Dock. Meter rates are $1.50/hourly (meters accept quarters, dimes, & nickels only). Access to the harbor’s west side is available via the free inner-harbor water taxi, which boards at the launch ramp.

Harbor Water Taxi
The free, inner-harbor water taxi, which serves remote parking areas, will operate between 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Passengers may be picked up and dropped off at the following locations:

• X1 Gate (northeast harbor)
• AA Dock (southwest harbor)
• Launch Ramp (southeast harbor)
