Please move your catamaran starting April 4, 2025, and by no later than April 13, 2025.

Dear Catamaran Storage Customer:

Your catamaran must be removed from the Santa Cruz Harbor launch ramp by no later than April 4, 2025.  Beach storage is available from April 2025 to October 2025, at the same rate. Conventional trailers are not permitted on the beach and must be stored separately. All catamarans must be currently registered. Vessels not meeting this requirement will be cited for violating Section 9850 of the California Vehicle Code and will not be allowed on the beach or in the harbor.

If you do not move your vessel to the beach by April 13, harbor staff may move it and you will be charged a minimum fee of $150.00.  Please note that catamarans left in the launch ramp on April 13, 2025, may be deemed abandoned vessels and placed in impound instead of being relocated to the beach.

Dredging is still underway in the harbor channel. There are associated pipe hazards on the beach, and pipe and buoy hazards in the nearshore. Renters are advised to continue to use the vessel launch ramp on the harbor’s east side until all dredging equipment is demobilized from the beach and nearshore area in late-May.

If you do not wish to take advantage of our beach storage program, please notify the harbor office so we can ensure no further charges are added to your account.
