Notice to Harbor Tenants
Dear Tenants,
The Port District recently held a Harbor Business Roundtable meeting to introduce Harboropoly, a community-focused promotion designed to encourage visitors to dine, shop, and enjoy activities at harbor businesses during the ongoing Murray Street Bridge construction.
We would like to thank all tenants who attended and acknowledge the great suggestions and feedback shared during the meeting. Your input is invaluable in shaping Harboropoly and other harbor marketing initiatives.
Harboropoly Overview:
- A printed gameboard brochure will be available to guide visitors through the program, explain rules, and list prize tiers.
- Visitors will collect stamps at participating businesses and activities.
- Prize tiers reward small, medium, and grand participation, with raffles for all participants.
- One stamp is collected per visit at the time of purchase or participation.
- The program runs from October 1 through December 31, 2025.
Upcoming Harbor Events:
- Haunted Harbor: October 25, 2025
- Lighted Boat Parade: December 6, 2025
- Exploring additional seasonal events throughout the year.
Next Steps:
- Staff will send a follow-up email requesting photos, descriptions, and promotions for social media highlights and other advertising opportunities.
- We encourage all tenants to share ideas and recommendations as we work together to enhance visitorship and support the harbor community.
