Paddling Regulations
A launch fee is assessed in accordance with the current Fee Schedule for all non-motorized, non-trailer vessels, kayaks, or stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) using one of the following hand launch areas in the harbor:
- East side K-Dock (located inside of the fuel dock extension)
- West side F-Dock Ramp
- West side A-Dock Ramp
No Trailers, No Motorized Vessel Allowed
To ensure safety and efficient launching / retrieval, please observe the following:
- Be courteous! Do not block, linger, or play on the ramp.
- Minimize your impact and stow personal items. Do not leave gear, vessels, or equipment on or near the ramp.
- Children under the age of 13 MUST wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket aboard a vessel of any length.
- Human-powered watercraft traffic is restricted to the main channel; please keep the fairways clear.
- You do NOT have the right-of-way. Keep to the right at all times.
- Yield to and avoid vessels in the harbor channel. Do not cause vessels to alter speed or course.
- Do not create congestion in the channel, which extends 100 yards past the jetties. Do not hover near the entrance.
- Sailboats and large vessels have limited maneuverability. Be aware of your surroundings at all times and avoid a collision.
